We are packed and hit the road for Anchorage. It is -10 degrees in Sterling as indicated on our mirror. Although, it is sunny and the drive is breathtakingly beautiful, we are ready to leave Alaska and head to sunny, Cabo San Lucas.
After arriving in Anchorage, we make a quick stop at Walmart and had a bite to eat at the Peppermill. We saw Lucas and Leo, of course, they wanted to come with us. We then headed to Jeremy and Lalanya's house to rest before heading to the airport. We left the truck there and took a cab at 10:30 pm. We left our coats in the truck and it was a bit nippy on the way to the airport. There were no lines checking in and we were shocked to see no one in line at security. That was a first for us! We ran into Don Oberg who was heading to Virginia. We left at 1 am and arrived in Portland to pouring rain. With less than an hour lay over, we were on our way to San Diego, even though that was not mentioned on our intinerary. After a brief security check, we were back on the plane and off to Cabo, arriving at 1:20 pm. The warm sun felt so good as we walked into the terminal. After going through customs, getting our bags, and finding our driver, we were off to Missiones Del Cabo.
Just as we found 2102, Bob and Lynn Pearsall called our names and brought us up to the Condo. They offered to drop us off at Walmart to do our shopping, so we dropped our bags and took advantage of the ride. We were a bit rummy, after being up for 36 hours, but we got some food and took a cab back for $15. The condo was as nice as the pictures that Bob sent. After getting settled and a quick bite to eat,
