Day 9
Sleeping in until 9 AM is just what we needed. After easing into the morning, Barb takes us to the Farmer’s Market. We were oohing and aahing at the lovely fruits, vegetables and flowers and of course had to buy some corn, peaches, apples, and grapes. This is such a treat for us considering what we get in Alaska. From the Market, we went to Boston Harbor watching the resident seal tease the neighborhood dogs. We walked along the docks and admired the sailboats and houseboats. It felt like a summer day instead of fall and we loved every minute of it. When we got back to Barb’s, we went for an hour walk before dinner. Thanks to the Burgeners for their wonderful hospitality and friendship.
